Family portfolio
You want photos of your family that are unique to you, and images that are relaxed and totally natural. As a mum of 3, I understand that your 2 year old is going to want snacks and pit stops frequently, that your older smalls will love playing games, and that your partner isn't quite up for being in front of the camera. The good news is, ALL my families have these concerns initially, but coming away having enjoyed their shoot, and loved their images even more - dads too!

I love telling stories with my work, your whole gallery builds a picture of this moment in time for your family. Sometimes I will take the lead more and suggest games and positions, other times I will follow your little ones around and document them just as they are. This means you always receive images that are fun, natural and authentic.
Where are you based?
I'm based in Cirencester and travel up to 30mins from GL7 for family location shoots around the beautiful Cotswolds. I also offer in-home photoshoots, where I document you and your family in the comfort of your own home.
What's the best time of year to have a family photoshoot?
We are blessed with beautiful woodlands, open fields and picturesque villages in the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire. In spring you have the bluebells and yellow rapeseed fields, in the summer you have fields of barley and wheat that glow at sunset, and in the autumn you have the earthy colours of the woods as a backdrop.
What if it rains on our booked date?
The wonderful British weather is always a tad unpredictable! I closely follow the weather predictions, a bit of drizzle is usually fine, but if it's heavy rain forecast we will rearrange for another time.
What should I wear?
I talk through styling options for you and your family before the photoshoot, to help you decide what to wear. I also have a dresses in my client wardrobe that you can use, if you'd like to. You'll be surprised at what you'll find at home though! Keep it simple, and you can always bring along a backup outfit or a change of outfit if you'd like to vary up the looks.
We're not comfortable in front of the camera, how will you help us get the best photos?
I think I hear this from just about every family I see, and they all come away saying how much they enjoyed it, and how surprised they are at the photos after. I will play games with your little ones, encourage you to be yourselves, and have fun. I'm not a 'smile at the camera' kind of girl, but I will make you laugh and chat to you throughout, keep things moving so it never feels awkward and I'll be guided by your little ones.
I'd like an in-home family photoshoot, but our house isn't that big?
We don't need much space at all for your family photoshoot at home, I'll scope out the best room/s to use when I arrive and shuffle some things around sometimes. Primarily we just need a window with enough natural light coming through. If you have a garden we can also use outdoor space, or go for a short walk from your house too, depending on your surrounds.
