Maternity photography
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope you are feeling well. I know all too well how pregnancy can bring such a mix bag of feelings. You love your growing bump, but your body is changing and everything is feeling fuller and heavier - the heartburn, the sickness, the exhaustion - alongside those glorious kicks and movements and excitement for finally holding your baby in your arms soon.
You might be here because you know how fleeting this time is, and you want to capture it now while you can, but you might also be unsure of being in front of the camera at this time when your body is changing so much. Let me put your mind at ease, that even though you feel your 'glow' is more of a sweat sheen, none of your clothes seem to fit, and just tying your shoe laces is an impossible task, we will create some beautiful imagery for you to look back on.

Come and join me in my cosy studio in Cirencester, or enjoy a shoot out in the fields or woods in Gloucestershire, or other beautiful Cotswolds location. I know how hard it can feel being in front of the camera, especially in pregnancy, but rest assured I'll gently guide you through the session, making small suggestions and prompts and I apologise now I like to chat a lot, especially if it's about birth!
When is the best time to have a pregnancy photoshoot?
I recommend getting in touch after your 20 week scan to secure your date, and the ideal time to have your photoshoot is between 30-36 weeks pregnant. This means you'll have optimal bumpage, but also not too exhausted and in nesting mode yet!
Who can come to my maternity photoshoot? Are children and pets allowed too?
Absolutely! You might decide to have a solo, more intimate, shoot, with just yourself. Partners, older siblings and pets are very welcome to join you too though.
Will you help me know what to do and what to wear?!
Of course! I have a client wardrobe you're welcome to use, but I also talk through styling advice with you before your shoot, so you can find something from home that works (or a few options!) instead. It's important that you feel comfortable, and I will guide you gently through positions and movements, with occasional prompts, to help put you at ease.
